What is the Warm-Up Cruise?
The Warm-Up Cruise is a 5-night group cruise hosted by Gem Travel Agency aboard Carnival Mardi Gras, sailing April 17–22, 2028. It’s the perfect way to warm up from winter to spring season with sunshine, beaches, great food, entertainment, and a whole lot of fun.
What ship will we be sailing on?
We’ll be sailing aboard Carnival Mardi Gras, Carnival’s Excel-class ship featuring multiple dining options, entertainment, themed areas, pools, BOLT—the first roller coaster at sea—and plenty to keep you busy.
How much does the cruise cost?
Current cabin pricing starts around $629 per person for an Interior Stateroom. Price is based on double occupancy. Pricing is subject to change and availability.
How much do I need to get started?
A $75.00 per person deposit is due at reservation
Can I make payments?
Yes! One of the benefits of booking early is having plenty of time to spread your payments out before the final payment deadline.
Can I travel alone?
Absolutely! Solo travelers are welcome. Please note that cruise pricing is generally based on double occupancy, so solo travelers may have a different rate.
What if I don’t have a roommate yet but want to secure my cabin?
No problem! You can secure your cabin with just the lead traveler on the reservation. Once you find a roommate, simply contact Gem Travel Agency and we can add them to your reservation.
Please note: If you need to change the lead traveler after booking, Carnival’s name-change policy will apply and a name-change fee may be involved. For this reason, it’s best to list the person who will remain the lead traveler for the reservation.
Are shore excursions included?
Shore excursions are not included in the cruise fare unless specifically stated. Gem Travel Agency can help you plan excursions and activities for the ports of call.
Will transportation to and from the cruise port be provided?
Group transportation options may be available. Pricing and details will be provided once we have a confirmed headcount.
Can I add travel protection?
Yes. Travel protection is available and can be added to your reservation. Details and pricing will be provided at the time of booking.
What if I need to cancel?
Cruise cancellation policies and penalties are determined by Carnival and depend on how close the cancellation is to sailing. Travel protection may provide additional benefits depending on the plan purchased.
Do I have to participate in group activities?
Nope! This is your vacation. Join the group when you want, explore on your own, relax by the pool, book an excursion, or do absolutely nothing. You vacation your way!
